A Semester Exchange at Altinbas University, Turkey intake Spring Semester

Altınbas University, Istanbul, Turkey  would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for Spring semester 2023 (February –  June 2023)  is open.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their independent quarantine, learning materials, dorm and  living expenses in Turkey including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance.  Students need to check the entry regulations from Turkish Government.

This program is only open for ITS Students S1 batch 2021 and 2020 & S2 who already completed minimum 1 semester from related department.

ITS students must take maximum transfer credits.

HEALTH INSURANCE
Erasmus and International exchange students are required to have valid Health Insurance in Türkiye covering the whole duration of their stay for resident permit applications (not for registration to Altınbaş University).

VISA
The passport must be brought while coming to Türkiye even though you can just enter with your ID. The citizens of countries at the link may get the visas at the customs (Airport) (Please have your documents regarding your Erasmus Student Status with you)

RESIDENCE PERMIT
You will be informed about the residence permit in detail upon your arrival at the Orientation Program. Be aware that you should have a passport 60 days longer than the duration of the resident permit requested. The applications should be done within 30 days after your arrival. As an Erasmus Office, our responsibility is only collecting the documents and delivering them to the immigration office. After that students are responsible to follow up on their process.

ORIENTATION
Orientation week for new exchange students at Altınbaş University is intended to welcome them and give them the essential information. They also have the chance to meet their mentors and other exchange students
during the week. Several social events are running throughout the week to help them settle into life at Altınbaş University. Orientation starts one week before the classes begin.

BUDDY PROGRAM
Before students arrive in Istanbul they can sign up for the buddy program to apply for an Altınbaş University student (buddy) who will assist them upon arrival and during their entire stay in Istanbul. Buddies consider
their Students’ well-being at all times and are always ready to address your questions or concerns the whole exchange semester.

COST OVERVIEW
■ Accommodation (except student dormitory)
350 € Per Month
■ Transportation 5 € Per Month
■ General living expenses (food, social activities, etc)
70 € Per Month

Required documents:

  1. CV
  2. Scanned of Academic Transcript in English version
  3. Scanned Passport
  4. Passport size photograph
  5. Scanned of ID Students
  6. Recommendation Letter
  7. Motivation Letter (One Page A4), Please mentioned clearly  your course selection and also 1 other course as the back up  in your motivation letter
  8. The latest certificate of B2 (CEFR) or TOEFL PBT 550; TOEFL CBT 213; TOEFL IBT 80.These exams must be taken within the last two years. (screenshoot score from web UPT Bahasa is not acceptable).

  11. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (S2 Applicants can replace it with R2SEP certificate)
  12. Vaccination Certificate

We will not process the incomplete application or late submission of the application

If you have finished and submitted your Study Abroad Application form, YOU HAVE TO SEND email to studyabroad@its.ac.id confirming that you have filled out the Study Abroad Application Form and submit it. Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_SpringAltinbas_NAME_NRP”. The submission deadline extended until 16 January 2023 ( 23.59 WIB). The Interview Session will be held on 18 January 2023.
