Inbound Staff Mobility June 2022
On June Monday, June 6th throughout Friday, June 10th, ITS Global Engagement has held an offline program called Inbound Staff Mobility (ISM) for the first time in 3 years. This program is a mark for countries opening their borders after 2 years of the Covid-19 outbreak. ISM is an offline program that invites the staff of different universities from all over the world to go to ITS and experience Surabaya and Indonesia.
In June 2022’s ISM, there are 23 participants from 11 different universities and from 5 different countries.
Below are the participating universities:
Besides meetings and discussions on various topics, ISM is also a way to show Indonesia’s traditions and language. Such as dancing to Tari Poco Poco and learning Bahasa Indonesia through “Fun Bahasa Indonesia”. There was also a Campus Tour and a City Tour. The Campus Tour purpose is to showcase the buildings in ITS and also it’s use for the community. The City Tour is where the participants went to famous spots in Surabaya. The participants also got a chance to see the sunrise at Mount Bromo, Malang.
