Program: 2022 Fall Fee-Paying Chinese Language Program(face-to-face/offline)
Targets: 1. Students from partner universities who are interested in learning Mandarin Chinese Language at Providence University(PU). 2. Students with beginning to advanced level are both welcomed.
Requirements: 1. Nomination from the international office of home university is required. 2. Take the Chinese language course for at least 15 credits/per week 3. Study Length: the minimum 6 months (i.e.22 weeks)
Program Fee: NT$26,500 (22 weeks)
Student is responsible for: 1. Visa Application Fee (Before coming to Taiwan; visa type: FR visa) 2. Flight Tickets 3. Negative PCR Test Result (within 2 days valid before departure) 4. 10-day Quarantine (accommodation & meals) Plus 7-day Self-Health Management (accommodation) 5. 1st PCR Test upon Arrival at Taoyuan International Airport(TPE) 6. 2nd PCR Test on the 9th-10th Day of Quarantine 7. Home Kit for PCR Test on the 6th or 7th Day of the Self-Health Management 8. ARC Card Fee (after arriving at Taiwan) 9. On-Campus Dorm Fee and Bedding Set 10. Field Trips (if any) 11. Personal Living Expenses
Estimate Cost during study at PU: 1. 10-day Quarantine (NT$3,000/day, including accommodation and meals) 30,000 2. 7-day Self-health management (NT$2,500/day, including accommodation) 22,500 3. Transportation (Taoyuan Int’l Airport-> quarantine hotel) 1,080 4. Accommodation (The dormitory is not available in 2022 fall) 5500-6000 /month 5. Bedding Set 2,300 6. Personal Living Expense (approx. NT$10,000/month) 60,000
