Istanbul Aydin University (IAU) Turkey opens a virtual student exchange program for Fall 2022 (September 2022-January 2023) intake for ITS students. The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their independent quarantine, learning materials, dorm and living expenses in Turkey including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance. students need to check the entry regulations from Turkey Government
ITS Students are only allow to take one course and it is not compulsory to do transfer credit. IITS GE will select only 2 ITS students for this program

ITS Students need only to take one courses and please choose another one as the back up
ITS Student can only take courses at these departments: Business, International Trade, Political Science and International Relations, Aviation Management, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine and Dentistry (first 3 years of classes only)
This program is only open for ITS Students S1 batch 2019 and 2020 & S2 who already completed minimum 1 semester from related department
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS
A STUDENT VISA is required to be registered as a student in Turkey. You must apply for a student visa in your home country
before coming to Turkey. In order to apply for a student visa, you will need to visit the nearest Turkish Consulate in your home
country with the following documents:
• The letter of Acceptance from Istanbul Aydin University
• A completed visa application form
• Visa fee
*The required documents for the consulate may vary please visit consulate web site for detailed information.
Residence Permit Application
Within one month of your arrival, you have to apply for your residence permit ONLINE. Please, immediately make your appointment at this link upon your arrival to İstanbul; https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/. A Residence Permit is an official document stating registration with the Directorate General of Migration Management (İçişleri Bakanlığı Göç İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü).
Required Documents For Residence Permit:
1) 1) Application form filled out according to the information on the passport (can be done at the time of application)
2) Student Letter document (available from the Student Affairs Office)
3) 5 photos (passport size)
4) Passport-Copy of the pages including ID information and the last entrance to Turkey in the passport
5) Application fee
6) The birth certificate may be requested for foreign minors.
7) Proof of Full Legal Name Certificate will be requested from students who have mentioned in their passport their full name,
without a clear distinction between the name and surname. This certificate must be obtained prior to arrival to Turkey and will
be issued by the nearest to you Consulate/Embassy.
8) Original health insurance if you bought it from J Block ground floor (take with you the original that has 3 pages).
COMPULSORY HEALTH INSURANCE
Compulsory Health Insurance
This insurance is not optional unless you have your own insurance. In this case, you should contact the staff at the officeof International Student and Staff Affairs with the documents of proof and have them advise and register you to the Compulsory Health Insurance if need be.
Why do I need Compulsory Health Insurance?
The Compulsory Health Insurance is required for below purposes:
Registration to the University.
To renew your registration to the University.
To obtain a residence permit.
İstanbul Aydın University Dormitory (Girls only):
Private | Double room per person: prices for one semester should be asked
Republika Hostel (Boys and Girls):
Private | Triple room per person: prices for one semester should be asked
Dormitory Fees Approx. $2000~4000 / Semester
Books (Depends on the class) Approx. $100 / Semester
Meals $3~4 / each meal
Personal Expenses $200~300 / month
