Dear ITS Students,
Yonsei University offers a 5-week winter program at our Sinchon campus for international students who would like to enjoy the winter in Seoul. Winter Abroad at Yonsei is composed of two separate sessions: Session 1 is a 3-week program focusing on academic achievement with various courses and Session 2 is a 2-week program with an intensive Korean language course along with distinguished cultural and historical lectures related to Korea society. Unfortunately the 2021 WAY Session 2 program has been canceled due to the ongoing global pandemic.
On the weekend, participants can enjoy special Korean winter activities. The university provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your scholarship, to interact with eminent professors and to enjoy the companionship of participants from all over the world. The program will be held in Monday 27 Dec 2021 – Friday, 14 January 2022 for Session 1
Benefits (Fee-Paying Students Only) ❶ BEATOGETHER COVID-19 (KRW 150,000 per online course) KRW 150,000 will be deducted per course for those taking online courses(see ‘Fees’ chart above). If all courses are switched to online only due to ongoing pandemic, BEATOGETHER COVID-19 scholarship will be applied to all courses accordingly. ❷ Early Enrollment Benefit (KRW 100,000) All students who complete their application for 2021-22 Winter Abroad at Yonsei (WAY) by September 30 are eligible to receive a fee benefit and it will be deducted from the tuition fee. ❸ Re-Enrollment Benefit (KRW 100,000) All students who have participated in the YISS or WAY program in the past is eligible to receive a fee benefit and it will be deducted from the tuition fee. ❹ APRU & AEARU Associate University Scholarship (KRW 100,000) All students who are enrolled in the APRU and AEARU associate university will receive the APRU & AEARU scholarship and it will be deducted from the tuition fee. *Early Bird Reward and other scholarships cannot be duplicated except BEATOGETHER COVID-19 scholarship.
