SIT Sandwich (Student Exchange) Program for Spring Semester 2022

Dear ITS Students,

Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) Japan would like to offer you Sandwich Program (student exchange) intake Spring 2022 (start from End of March – July 2022).  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, registration fee (30.000 JPY for spring semester only)  dorms and living expenses in Japan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, Travel Insurance and independent 14 days Quarantine. Students also need to check the entry regulations to enter Japan

This program is open for ITS Students with criteria below:

• Diploma/S1 batch 2019 & 2020
• S2 who already completed min 1 semester
• Have ability in english (oral & written)

http://timetable.sic.shibaura-it.ac.jp/ (please refer to Spring semester only). You can take courses from any department.. Be aware of the campus that offers courses. Each campus is far from the other, so please consider the traveling time to each campus when you register for courses.

Please kindly note that ITS Students (Diploma/S1) must take and transfer the courses minimum 12 sks.

Here the requirement for this program

1.  CV

2. One original applicant’s University Transcript. (English version). The GPA of applicants must higher than 2,75 (out of 4.0)

3. Certificate of Enrollment

4. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport information page (at least valid minimum until one year)

5. The latest English Proficiency Certificate Test Score (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT  (You can use TEFL/EFL with minimum 477). –> score screenshoot  from UPT Bahasa website is not acceptable. You may submit TOEFL/EFL who longer than 2 years from the test date

6. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor

7. Statement Letter (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange )

8. Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) Please only submit with your department coordinator (Head of Dept) signed only. You don’t need to get signed at Institutional Coordinator and please leave blank for that section

9. Pledge Form ( Please kindly signed it and leave blank for institution coordinator section)

10. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (S2 Students can replace it with R2SEP certificate) 

The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team. ITS Students must consult with your parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. You need to submit it during interview process

The interview will be held 19 October 2021 around 17.00 – 21.00 WIB
