Atta-ur-Rahman Institute for Natural Product Discovery is organizing an online 4-day NMR camp on structural elucidation with reduced fees. The details of the workshop are as follows:
Date : 15-18 December 2020 Time : 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (GMT+8)
Speakers : Prof Dr. Nor Hadiani Ismail, Dr. Nurhuda Manshoor, Dr. Che Puteh Osman and Dr. Fatimah Salim
The program, which includes lectures and group work will expose and familiarize the participants to spectral analyses and strategies for structure elucidation of compounds based on their spectrometric data (UV, IR, 1D- and 2D-NMR, MS and circular dichroism).
During the online 4-day workshop, participants will gain information and experience on the practical approach of analyzing spectral data and structural elucidation.
In addition to online lectures, participants will work together in smaller groups with their respective moderators using online platform and apply their knowledge to the structure elucidation of compounds with increasing complexity.
The workshop is suitable for researchers (young and experienced), postgraduate students, staffs of public and private companies who will be working on the structural elucidation of natural products and/or synthetic compounds.
