Dear ITS students,
ITS Surabaya and Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan are collaboratively initiating a virtual online short program named Global Project Based Learning (GPBL), with the theme of “Mathematical challenges towards disease outbreaks: Analysis and prediction of COVID-19 pandemics using mathematical models and big data analytics”.
This program will take place on Saturday, 7, 14, 21, 28 November 2020.
This program offers a space for young mathematicians, analysts, and researchers to connect and network, as well as provide a platform for them to sharpen their research and big data skills through virtual project team-up with international colleague. There will be lectures, discussion, project presentation, and fun activities. This program is FREE and open for 30 ITS students and 20 SIT students.
Eligibilites:
1. Active ITS student from any batch and any major (preferably Mathematics) 2. Having good English (oral and written) 3. Minimum GPA 2.75 4. Highly motivated, committed, and discipline
