On Thursday, 4 June 2020 at 15.00 WIB, ITS Global Engagement in collaboration with Istanbul Aydin University (IAU) Turkey were conducting an open session through Instagram live. This activity aims to share general information about an online short program called Delightful Istanbul Summer School which will be held by Istanbul Aydin University (IAU) Turkey on 13-25 July 2020.
On Instagram Live, the participants could ask any information about the online summer school program to the representative of Istanbul Aydin University (IAU) Turkey, Mr. Faruk Seferi as Coordinator of Delightful Istanbul Program 2020. Faruk said that ITS is actually one of the best partner universities of IAU because the university always sends around 5-9 students annually for the Delightful Istanbul Program Series (Summer & Winter).
The topic discussed in the open session was the introduction and short technical about the program and followed by a question and answer session with Mr. Faruk Seferi. This session was attended by a total of 29 participants and the recorded video of Instagram Live was saved at @itsinternational office IGTV by 22 July 2020 and has been viewed up to 870 views.
For question and answer mechanism, the committee had informed to the participants by posting the announcement open session several days before Instagram Live started. If there are participants who want to ask the speaker, they can type on announcement comment section post and the question will be answered on Instagram live, but participants chose to ask directly on the Instagram Live session.
The output of an open session through Instagram Live is ITS students can fully understand the corresponding program so that they will have a propensity to apply. We expect that ITS and IAU can have a stronger relationship in the future.
