News Update: East Java Exploration 2019

East Java Exploration (EJx) 2019 is a joint short program under the Western Australia-East Java University Consortium (WAEJUC) held from 23 June 2019 until 10 July 2019 . It is one of collaborations between East Java and Western Australia as sister province/state, initiated in 2017 by 10 East Java Universities and 5 Western Australia Universities, EJx Program aims to connect the members through student activities. This year is the first time the event is being held.

11 Western Australia students from the University of Notre Dame, the University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and 10 East Java students from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jawa Timur, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Universitas Jember and Universitas Trunojoyo Madura participated in this program.

This year, ITS became the coordinator of EJx program, hence welcomed the participants on the first day.
During the program, the students learned various enriching topics such as Maintaining Woman Health by using Indonesian Heritage Herbs, Smart City, Tobacco for Community Welfare, Mangrove Conservation and many other unique, fascinating areas.
