Facing Industrial Revolution 4.0 Engineers (FIRE) is a collaboration of ITS with the United States Consulate General to prepare young generation to face Industrial 4.0. One of the FIRE programs is rapid prototyping skill training. Students are encouraged to generate problems around them and make the solution through effective design thinking, create the design in 3D software, and print it using 3D printing.
This program is also in a collaboration with Integrated Digital Design Lab from the Product Design Department, where 3D printed design from fashion items to medical devices are being developed.
