Dear ITS Students,
School of Marine Technology – Tianjin University, China invited ITS students to join their own short course namely "Tianjin University Short Course 2019 Smart Ocean Innovation. This program will be held on 15 June until 15 Sept 2019 (3 months)
In this program you will learn several courses related to Smart Ocean Innovation such as marine detection instruments, marine positioning technology, batchymetics survey, Introduction to marine sciences, etc

Tianjin University wi;; responsible for tuition fees, accommodation and city transportation fees. However the selected students have to pay for visa fees, round-trip flight, registration fee (420 RMB) and insurance (400 RMB) by themselves. Students will be awarded the scholarship according to the results of the training results. The outstanding students will be awarded RMB 5,000 per person, and the qualified students will each receive RMB 3,000
This program open for ITS students from Biology, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Sea Transportation Engineering and Ocean Engineering with criteria below:
– S1 batch 2016
– S2 batch 2017 & 2018
For ITS students who are interested to join this program, please prepare the documents below :
– CV (max 2 pages)
– Official Academic Transcript in English Version (the latest one) (GPA min 2.75)
– Scanned Passport Page Information (minimum 1 year valid)
– Scanned Valid English Proficiency Certificate. You can use TOEFL/IELTS/IBT/EFL (Valid means your TOEFL/IELTS/IBT/EFL certificate is no longer than 2 years from your test date. Your TOEFL/EFL must valid at least minimum until August 2019). TOEFL/EFL minimum 477
– Statement of Enrollment
– Scanned of High School Certificate in english version (you may use sworn translator)
– Study Abroad Plan (maximum on 800 words)
– any supporting certificate in english version

The incomplete application will not processed by Study Abroad Team.
