CommTECH Insight 2019 has officially started today! The total of 64 participants from 13 different countries were welcomed by a traditional dance performance before continuing on to the opening ceremony in the rectorate building. There was a speech from ITS Rector, followed by presentations from several departments and research & postgraduate programs, and an introduction to the organizing committee by a surprise flash mob inside the rectorate main conference room.
After a lunch break in the adjoined dining room, the next agenda was a campus tour to central ITS library, Biology dept. laboratories, Spectronics ITS, and national electric car research center. In each destination they learned about the focus of the unit. For example, they learned many prototype research by national electric car research center, just like ITS progress in creating electric car in national electric car research center.
The first day ends with having dinner with all of the participants and the committees. We hope this cheerfulness and excitement can last up to 14 days.
