A Semester Exchange Program at NSYSU Spring 2019

National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for Intake Spring 2019 is already opened. The duration of the program is 15 February – 26 June 2019. The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, accommodations and living expenses in Taiwan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees & Insurance.

Semester Period:  Mid-February – Late-June

Midterm: Mid-April

Final: Late-June

Cost

Housing: NT$17,000 (International Dorm – 2 people share a room)  NT$8,500 (Local Dorm – 4 people share a room) per semester Housing (Off campus): NT8,000 – 12,000/ per month

Meals: NT$8,000-9,000 per month, Books: NT$5,000 per semester Local transportation: NT$3,000 per month

Health insurance: NT$326 per semester (NSYSU student group insurance)

Internet: NT$300  per semester  ,NT$749 per month (National Health Insurance—for students staying for one academic year only – obligated to join starting at the 6th month)  
Note:  The estimation is the average spending of a typical student attending NSYSU.  
Additional Fees to Pay Winter dormitory fee: NT$4,300 Summer dormitory fee: NT$8,600 Fees are subject to change each year

This program open for ITS students with criteria below :

– S1 & S2 min batch 2017

– Have a good english ( oral & written )

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare :

1. CV
2. Motivation Letter (maximum 2 pages)
3. Learning Agreement (Download it here http://io.its.ac.id/its-student-exchange/ ). Please kindly fill department coordinator with the signature head of department/coordinator academic at your department. Please leave it blank at Institutional Coordinator (it will be done by ITS IO)
4. Official Academic Transcript in English version
5. A Valid English Proficiency English Test (You can use TOEFL/EFL with minimum Score is 477 or IBT/IELTS who equal with TOEFL 477)
6. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor
7. Scanned Valid Passport (validity minimum 1 year)

The incomplete application will not processed by Study Abroad Team. 

For ITS Students who interested with this program please kindly send all of your documents (softcopy in PDF Format) to Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject: StudentExchange_NSYSU_Name_NRP maximum on 5 November 2018 ( 23.59 WIB). You must bring the original Learning Agreement & statement letter at Interview Selection (around 7-8 November 2018)
