Joint Workshop Global Engineer in Asia 2018 Ritsumeikan University

Program Overview

The workshop for Global Engineers 2018 is a scientific meeting to facilitate the bright young researchers to present and share their researches as well as to broaden their network among the international researchers. The workshop was firstly initiated in 2014 by four international reputable universities i.e. Ritsumeikan University-Japan, University Teknologi Malaysia-Malaysia, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)-Thailand and ITS-Indonesia. By attending this workshop, the young researchers from the four universities are expected to build a mutual research collaboration that could positively contribute to the reinforcement of the inter-institution partnership. Following the success of the three previous workshops, the four universities agreed to continuously conduct the workshop. Ritsumeikan is delighted to host the fourth workshop which will be held on July 23-28, 2018.

Eligibilities

1. Currently enrolled as a doctoral student and master student at ITS
2. Attending CommTECH IDEAS
3. Have a good English proficiency (oral and written) with minimum score of TOEFL PBT: 477 / TOEFL IBT: 64 / IELTS: 5.5
4. Minimum GPA 3.00
5. Recommendation Letter from the Head of Laboratory
