College of Engineering, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) Taiwan will be held 2 week summer internship for international students. This program will be held on July 25 – August 8, 2018
This summer internship program is intended for engineering students at the sister institutes of National Chung-Hsing University to delve into the engineering technologies and the cultural beauty of Taiwan.
Geographically located between Japan and Philippines along the west rim of the Pacific Ocean, Taiwan is celebrated for its stunning vibrancy in industrial innovation. It is also one of the leading e-societies in the Asia-Pacific region. These economic achievements have been highly associated with a distinctive culture comprising of a wide array of Chinese and indigenous elements. The technology novelty and the cultural beauty of Taiwan deserve more recognition from the world. To that end, the summer internship program to be held at NCHU offers a series of technical seminars and field trips. We earnestly invite you to join this discovery trip.
Participants will directly join the independent study program in one of the selected research groups from Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Precision Engineering, Communication Engineering, Optoelectronic Engineering and Biomedical Engineering

NCHU will provide 1 scholarship for 1 selected ITS Student to join this program. The scholarship will cover program fee, dorm & food expenses. The selected students should cover the rest of payment such as roundtrip flight ticket, visa, insurance & other personal expenses.
This program is eligible for for ITS students with criteria below :
– D4 & S1 minimum batch 2015
– D3 & S1 Lintas Jalur minimum batch 2016
– S2 who already completed at least 1 semester

Please mentioned in which lab and dept in College of Engineering, NCHU that you would like to do internship
2. Official Academic Transcript in English Version
3. Valid Scanned TOEFL/IELTS Certificate ( You can use EFL from ITS min 500)
4. Scanned Passport with validity minimum 1 year
5. Motivation Letter "why you are eligible for this program" (maximum 2 pages, TNR 12, Margin 3,3,3,3)
6. Certificate of Enrollment
7. Statement Letter ( You can download from http://io.its.ac.id/short-programs-for-its/ )
The incomplete & over deadline application will not process by Study Abroad Team.
Please submit all of your documents (softcopy and in PDF Format) through Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id with format subject Apply_NCHU_SummerInternship_Name_NRP maximum on April 9, 2018 (20.00 WIB). The Interview session will be held around 11-13 April 2018. The applicants must bring the original statement letter during the interview session. Please kindly note that the applicants must attend the interview session ( there is no online interview).
