Thirteen new international students of ITS had finished their Orientation Week on Saturday, February 17th 2018. This program, which has been going on for five days since Monday, 12 February 2018, was meant to introduce several essential information to the new students, such as ITS academic regulations, international students activities, and the introduction of living in Surabaya.  Orientation Week was officially begun after a welcoming speech by ITS Vice Rector of Research, Innovation and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ketut Buda Artana ST., M. Sc.

From Monday to Wednesday, the new International Students received materials given by presenters from ITS IO Volunteers and several of ITS Bureau. Some of the student communities also took part on introducing their activities to them. On the last day, the new international students participated in the Library Tour guided by the librarian. The students received information about facilities of ITS Library.

Beside class session, the new students were having a campus and city tour on Saturday, February 17th 2018. They went to several iconic places in Surabaya such as Museum of Surabaya, Monument of Heroes, House of Sampoerna and Suroboyo Bridge accompanied by some volunteers. They got a chance to get to know what was beyond this city of heroes.

Hopefully, after this program, they could settle easier and enjoy their study in ITS, Surabaya.
