Business Service Computing Lab Industrial Engineering / Big Data Department Pusan National University, Korea is open for applications (Master/PhD)
Business Service Computing (BSC) is a research lab within Pusan National University, Korea now seeks for MS/PhD Candidates.
There are currently 2 Post-doctorate researchers, 5 PhD students, 3 Master students and 3 undergraduate students as lab intern BSC lab have published 30+ papers in SCI/E indexed journal, 20+ papers in Scopus indexed journal, 70+ papers in international conferences, and 60+ papers in Korean domestic conferences since 2004. BSC Lab have 13 domestic patents since 2007. Also, BSc lab have granted research funds for IoT, smart factory and big data researches from Korean Government Agency and enterprises
Research Areas: • Smart factory & Maritime logistics • Big data & Cloud computing • Simulation & Predictive analytics • Business process management • Process mining • Process and data analytics
Requirements: • Having graduated or finished undergraduate/master thesis by March 2018 • Having undergraduate GPA more than 3.0 in scale 4.0 or equivalent • Having a good programming skill (preferably Java, Java script, MySQL) • Having a good analytical & thinking skills • Having a good proficiency in English (TOEFL 500+ or equivalence is a plus) • Able to work in a team • Having basic knowledge of big data-related topics and R-tools is a plus
