It's 25 January 2018, the second day of CommTECH Camp Insight 2018. It was so blasted! The participants started the second day with the morning session which was led by Mr. Wahyu Islami P.M., S.T. Mr. Wahyu gave some quizzes about Surabaya Landmarks. After that, they were having a 3MI (three minutes idea) session with Dr. Maria Anityasari, S.T., M.Eng.
After those in-class activities, the second half of the day started with the participants went to the Moslem's Biggest Community in Surabaya, Ampel District. In Ampel, the participants were having the ethnophotography session, which they learned about the Islamic culture in Ampel District. They hunted pictures all over Ampel and engaged in conversation with locals for understanding the culture better.
Even though the main aim of this ethnophotography session was to understand the culture by using media such as photography and cinematography, the CommTECH Camp Insight 2018 Participants were highly excited to try various kinds of culinary served near Ampel. In the very last hour before their way back to the hotel again, they were editing the whole pictures and videos they got from the ethnophotography session and prepared them to be presented at the upcoming Fun Dinner.
