Special Master Course Program for Students to Study Japanese-style Manufacturing ( Japanese Monozukuri )

Dear ITS Students,

Graduate School of Engineering, Hiroshima University, will be calling for students who wish to enroll in the -Talented Human Resource – program in October 2018. This special master course program is designed for students to study Japanese-style manufacturing (Japanese Monozukuri ).

The program includes the following courses and classes: 

1. Intensive Japanese Language Course,
2. Japanese-Style Manufacturing Course (Problem Based Learning),
3. Internship in Companies in Hiroshima Prefecture,
4. Regular Engineering/Technology Classes,
5. Master Course Research, and
6. Dissertation.

The student who finishes the program is required to get a job in the manufacturing company in Hiroshima prefecture. The university administration strongly supports his/her application for the job.

Important dates :

• Admission date : October 1, 2018
• Application period : Desember 1, 2017 to January 31, 2018
• Announcement of results : March 9, 2018

​Regulation :

• Required English proficiency : over 600 on the TOEIC or equivalent ( ave scored over 505 on the TOEFL○R -PBT or over 63 on the TOEFL○R -iBT )

Fees :

• Application fee : JPY 30,000 (The amount may be changed)
• Admission fee : JPY 282,000 (The amount may be changed)
• Tuition fee : JPY 535,800 / year (The amount may be changed)
