Dear ITS Students,
Kumamoto University, Japan would like to offer "Sakura Science Exchange Program 2017" for ITS Students with Theme : "Environmental Sustainability and Disaster Mitigation". This program will be held on November 21 – 29, 2017
This program examines the current research being done in Kumamoto in the wake of the Kumamoto Earthquake regarding disaster mitigation and environmental systems with a focus on sustainability. Researchers will receive lectures and visit the laboratories of Kumamoto University's Center for Water Cycle, Marine Environment and Disaster Mitigation while conducting on-site research at earthquake sites and research laboratories in the Mt. Aso region. Students will be introduced to important research that can have valuable application in their home country of Indonesia.

The program cover all expenses for participants, including airfare to and from Japan, lodging during the program, class fee, bus fees, daily allowance
This program open for ITS Students with criteria below :
– S1 reguler from any departments batch 2014 and 2015
– S1 Lintas Jalur who already completed 2 semesters
– S2/S3/PMDSU all batch
Please note this program is not eligible for ITS Students who already joined student exchange/Short program at Japan from all university
For the one who interested with this program please prepare the documents below :
– CV
– Valid certificate of english languange, TOEFL ITP min 530 / IELTS min 6.0 / TOEFL-iBT min 80 ( You can not use EFL )
– Passport information page ( valid at least min 1 year)
– One page research essay related to the topic (A4, Tahoma 10, margin 3,3,3,3)
The incomplete documents will not be processed by study abroad team
