Short-Term Exchange Program for Postgraduate Students – Kumamoto University 2017 Fall Semester

Kumamoto University Library

Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kumamoto University, Japan offered a Short Term Exchange Program under JASSO Scholarship for 6 months or one year.

This year Kumamoto University is recruiting 20 applicants (graduate students/S2/S3) who are from partner universities with a student exchange agreement.

 

Scholarship Offered

JASSO Scholarship of 80,000 yen/month (participants have to take responsibility for the cost of flight ticket, accomodation, food, health insurance, and other living cost).

 

Program Duration

Either 6 months or 1 year from October 2017.

 

Contents of The Program

  • Research project
  • Lectures (a certificate of credits will be issued by Dean of GSST).
    "Current Science and Technology in Japan" in fall semester (2 credits) is required.
  • Choice of 3 classes related to topics in environment issues is required.
    *Exchange students can take most of lectures offered in GSST if agreement from an instructor can be obtained.
  • Field trip
  • Final Report
  • Midterm and final presentations

 

Application Deadline

Wednesday, June 7th 2017 before 15.00 WIB to KU Liaison Office (Ms. Mia Hernawati) at Direktorat Inovasi, Kerjasama dan Kealumnian Room (ex. Gedung Pasca Sarjana, 1st Floor).
