Global Competencies Workshop : Join it, develop yourself

In order to prepare students to be great global citizen and to help them for preparing their future study, Brand New – Global Competencies Workshop (GCW) is coming back with a new concept and improvement. This workshop will be divided into three courses. There are Basic GCW, GCW: Exploring Non-Degree Program, and GCW: Pursuing Degree Program.

Basic GCW

A first step for students to enhance their skills and knowledge in order to to pursue their global opportunities. The Basic GCW curriculum are formulated according to basic knowledge and materials needed for facing global opportunities and challenges. This workshop will provide you the information about the importance of going global, achieving global opportunities, and many more. Basic GCW will be held on September 22nd – 25th, 2016, Desember 1st – 4th, 2016 for the 2nd batch, February 23rd – 26th, 2017 for the 3rd batch, and April 28th – 30th, 2017 for the 4th batch.

GCW : Exploring Non-Degree Program

The next course is formulated to prepare students who want to apply for non-degree program such as short course, summer/winter program, etc. This workshop will give you detailed information about what should be prepared to increase opportunity to join non-degree programs. The students will get deeper knowledge about how to make a good motivation letter, how to be a master in lobbying and negotiating, how to be confident during interview session, and many more. Those who want to join this workshop are required to join Basic GCW.

GCW : Pursuing Degree Program

The last course is an advanced preparation for students who want to pursue higher degree program in graduate and post graduate level. This workshop will give you profound information and explanation about how to properly write academic article, how to connect with supervisor, how to develop professionalism in workplace, and many more. Those who want to join this workshop are required to join Basic GCW.

Basic GCW : How to Join

The registration period is opened from April 13rd – 23rd, 2017. Those who would like to join must register themselves by filling in the application form on the following link : GCW Basic Registration. There are two types of payment methods which are:

1. Offline payment

Offline payment is held at ITS International Office in Rectorate Building Ground Floor at 4 p.m. to 6 p.m (Monday – Friday). 

2. Online Payment

You can transfer the registration fee to Mandiri account 90000 2215 2541 (Lalita Devi). You need to add your registration number to the last (3) three digits of your payment amount. The registration number equals to row ID. Please refer to the following link to check your registration number: Registration Number. Online payment tutorial can be downloaded on  Payment Tutorial.

Example :

You are ITS student and your registration number is 23. The amount which should be transferred is Rp 65.023.
