The ASEA-UNINET program was presented by the coordinator of ASEA-UNINET of ITS Surabaya, Prof. Gamantyo from Electrical Engineering. This program supports the exchange of knowledge between partner universities in the member countries in Europe and South-East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam). The main activity of the network is the organization and financial support of the exchange of scientists and postgraduates and the transfer of knowledge associated with this. The country target of this program is Austria. And there are 4 programs offered to ITS students. They are Post-doc Grants (research grants) PhD-Grants Sandwich-Grants. Additionally, scholarship holders receive a travel cost subsidy of maximum 730 euros.

IMPAKT is dedicated to the development of the relations between Europe and Asia. Consisting of 20 Higher Education Institutions and 11 Associated Partners from both regions, the program will enable the exchange of 215 individuals. Grants of excellence can be awarded to students, from Bachelor to Post-doctorate, and to academic and administrative staff. There are 12 university members of IMPAKT in Asia Region and 8 members in Europe Region. The program duration is starting 1 month for staff exchange program and 10 months for doctorate program.

The last session was SUT Thailand conducted by Mr. Wahyu from International Office ITS, as the coordinator of the program. This program offers some opportunities for ITS students who want to pursue higher education. SUT has launched the SUT-Ph.D. Scholarship Program for ASEAN to promote student mobility and Ph.D. degree program development in the region. Nine scholarships will be granted to students or faculty members of higher education institutions in ASEAN countries to further the study of doctoral degrees at SUT in the fields of Science, Engineering, Agricultural Technology and Social Technology in the Academic Year 2016.
