As ranked No.1 in the National Discipline Assessment by the Ministry of Education, Chemical Engineering of Tianjin University provides quality bachelor’s program (ISBCE) and master’s program (ISMCE) in either English or Chinese for international students. The programs offer the opportunity to study the most-advanced knowledge in the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology (SCET) and experience the colorful campus life.

International Scholarship of Bachelor's Program in Chemical Engineering (ISBCE):

ISBCE consists of 5 full scholarships and 10 partial scholarships.

Full scholarships (RMB 45,000) covers tuition fees for four years for a bachelor's degree and annual living allowance for four years.
Partial scholarship (RMB 20,000) covers tuition fees for four years for a bachelor's degree and partial living allowance for four years.

International Scholarship of Master's Program in Chemical Engineering (ISMCE):

ISMCE consists of 5 full scholarships and 10 partial scholarships.

Full scholarships (RMB 60,000) covers tuition fees for 2-3 years for a master's degree and annual living allowance for 2-3 years.
Partial scholarship (RMB 30,000) covers tuition fees for 2-3 years for a bachelor's degree and partial living allowance for 2-3 years.

Conditions and Eligibility:

The scholarship will be available to those applicants who:

Non-Chinese citizens in good health at the time of application
Applicants must be high school graduates, with good academic standing, and be over the age of 18 and under 35 (for ISBCE) or graduates with bachelor degree, and under the age of 45 (for ISMCE).
For Chinese-language programs, HSK certificate level 4 with no less than 180 scores
For English-language programs, English proficiency certificate will be required (TOEFL iBT 80 or IELTS 6.0 to pass the interview selection).

Application Procedures:

Complete the Application Form for Foreigners of Studying at TJU and Application Form for TJU International Students Scholarship (Chemical Engineering).
Mail the application forms and other application materials (one original and one copy) to the International Admissions Office, Tianjin University by July 13, 2015.
Tianjin University reviews the application with final list of successful candidates to be released by the end of July 2015.
Letter of Admission will be sent to the applicants.
Register at Tianjin University in early September 2015.
