Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta invites all candidates to apply for the first edition of Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Program (2015/2016 edition). Under the program, scholarships are offered for master’s studies (preceded by an annual preparatory course before starting studies in Poland) and PhD studies conducted in public universities supervised by the minister of higher education of Poland. The scholarship offer is addressed mainly to the citizens of the following countries: Angola, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kenya, Colombia, Mexico, Myanmar, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania, Vietnam.
Eligibility:
This program is addressed to engineering, geography, veterinary, maths, and other sciences last semester students or recent bachelor and master graduates to pursue their MA/Msc and PhD programs in Poland, preceded by 1 year Polish language program.
Scholarship Coverage:
This scholarship covers tuition fee, acommodation and living costs, with the total amount of 1350 PLN (approx. 365 USD) per month.
How to apply:
Please send filled out form together with the diploma of BA/BSc degree or its equivalent or transcript of records of the last semester of BA studies, the abstract (1-2 pages A4) of your proposed MA/PhD thesis, picture (passport format), copy of your passport, copy of medical clearance allowing for studies abroad. Please send complete documents by 21 June 2015 to dzakarta.amb.sekretariat@msz.gov.pl and also via post/courier to Embassy of Poland in Jakarta, Jl. Rasuna Said Kav. X, Blok IV/3, Jakarta 12950, Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan. Only completed applications delivered before deadline will be taken into consideration. Successful candidates will be contacted by the end of July, 2015.
