Spring greetings from Tokyo!
Last year, Toyo University, along with four other private universities in the Tokyo metropolitan area, hosted the inaugural Academic Exploration Program (AEP), a series of lectures, workshops, outings, and a retreat at the foot of Mt. Fuji, that showcased various aspects of Japanese society and culture, and provided the participants with opportunities to spend time together with Japanese students.
Building on the success of last year’s program, we are pleased to announce this year’s AEP, entitled Amazing Tokyo. The program will run from June 20 to July 7.
As its name indicates, Amazing Tokyo will focus more on Tokyo. Participants will have numerous opportunities to appreciate and enjoy various aspects of Tokyo and its unique culture while learning about the exciting initiatives at work at some of Tokyo’s leading higher educational institutes.
Up to 50 participants will be accepted for this summer’s AEP. We would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly disseminate the attached information among your students and encourage those who are interested to apply.
