Call for Application : Kumamoto University Short-Term Exchange Program 2015-2016 (chances to apply JASSO scholarship is available) for Undergraduate students
1.Eligibility
・ Applicants should be non-Japanese full-time students at universities that have international student exchange agreement with Kumamoto University.
・ Applicants for E Course (program in English) should be 3rd grade students in principle.
・ Applicants should be physically and emotionally capable of completing their studies.
2.Required Documents
① Application for Kumamoto University Short-Term Exchange Program (For Undergraduate)
※Fill out EXCEL file
② Application for Certificate of Eligibility
③ Application for the International House
④ Certificate of Enrollment (issued by home university)
⑤ Academic Record (official home university transcript)
⑥ Letter of recommendation
⑦ Health certificate
⑧ Four photographs (40mm×30mm)
⑨ A copy of the first page of applicant’s passport
[Non-native English speaking applicants for E Course (program in English) only]
⑩ A copy of TOEFL score record
(If applicants do not have TOEFL score record, a Certificate of English Ability equivalent to TOEFL iBT score of 61 or over, issued by the home university is acceptable.)
3.Submission and Deadline
Please submit required documents to person in charge of overseas study programs at your home university.
Documents then should be sent to our International Student Office via your home university’s personnel by deadlines.
We do not accept documentssubmitted directly to Kumamoto University by applicants in person.

1. For attendance starting in October, 2015: May 11, 2015
2. For attendance starting in April, 2016: November 30, 2015
4. International House
Successfulapplicants of this program can apply for accommodation at Kumamoto University International House. In principle, students will be given priority to accommodate in shared room, however accommodation in single room will be offered by necessity.
5.Period of admission(2015)
Start from October 2015 for maximum *2 (two) terms
*1 (one) term is 6 (six) months
