International Opportunities For ITS Students

Student of ITS has a great opportunity of having experience to learn overseas, getting knowledge from international-class university, learning in different atmosphere than Indonesia’s education system, understanding the cultures of destination country, and in addition is travelling many locations in global world. ITS has provided its students to reach those points by having many partnership programs with overseas universities. The available mobility programs are:

a. Student Exchange

This program offers students for being taught in other university out of Indonesia intended for some periods. This exchange designed to expose student about international tutoring system and student be able to having some global perspectives. Students are possible to admit the exchange in following universities:

• Kumamoto University in Japan
• Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Malaysia
• Norwegian University of Science of Technology in Norway
• Toyohashi University of Technology in Japan
• Saga University in Japan
• Delft University of Technology in Netherland
• Curtin University of Technology in Australia

b. Double Degree

Double Degree Program allows student to study at two different university degrees in parallel, completing them in less time than it would take to earn them separately. The two degrees might be in the same subject area (especially when the course is split between countries), or in two different subjects. Double degree programs affords students to obtain degree in overseas university where fit with their academic and financial needs. The possible host universities for this program are:

1.            For Bachelor degree (3 years in ITS and 1 year in overseas university)

• Saxion University of Applied Science in Netherland
• Fontys University of Applied Science in Netherland

2.            For Master degree (1 year in ITS and 1 year in overseas university)

• National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in Taiwan
• Curtin University in Australia
• Kumamoto University in Japan
• Fachhochschule Darmstadt in Germany
• Universite' Pierre at Marie Curie in France

 c. Summer Course

Summer course is the short-period program (usually for 2 weeks – 1 month)  which presents an amount of fascinating courses, such as culture, civilization, back-to-nature experience, and many more depend on the host university.
