This community service is in the form of BMC model business plan training. The presenters of this training are Ir. Lantip Tri Sunarno, MT Lecturer at the ITS Industry Department. The training participants were 10 people from the Hydroponic Village, Simomulyo Village. Participants are limited to a maximum of 10 people according to health protocols. The community groups who attended represented the hydroponic lettuce farmer group and the hydroponic cake SME group in the Hydroponic Village, Simomulyo Village.

The purpose of this business plan training is to increase the business activities of the lettuce farmer group and the hydroponic village cake SME group. Participants learn to understand their business processes, how to generate profits and how to increase production and sales in accordance with the business system that has been prepared using BMC.

This training uses the POD method, adult learning. Participants are stimulated to be active. Not just passive listening. Submission of material is not only in the form of slides. Submission of material also utilizes other interactive media. Such as black cloth, meta plan paper, and color paper. So that participants are active and not bored.

Ir. Lantip Tri Sunarno, MT said in simple terms, the canvas business model is how to generate profits from our efforts. The business model must be simple, relevant (interrelated) and intuitively easy to understand. The business model canvas is a tool in strategic management and entrepreneurship to explain, design, challenge, create, pivot in a business.

After the delivery of material by Ir. Lantip Tri Sunarno, MT., participants learned the practice of making business models according to their business. Namely hydroponic farming and hydroponic cake business.

Participants write their business processes on a sheet of paper. Then stick it on the black cloth that has been provided. Every business process idea is written on paper. Participants do not need to feel wrong, because later it will be discussed together. After the group assignments are finished, each group appoints 1 person for presentation.

At the end of the session, participants were given an assignment. His task is to implement the existing business activities in the BMC of the lettuce farmer group and the hydroponic cake SME group. Participants are given a monitoring sheet for the implementation process provided by the ITS Team. It is hoped that with the implementation assignment accompanied by the ITS Team, the business activities of lettuce farmer groups and SMEs can run and develop in accordance with the business plan that has been prepared together. In the near future, the ITS Team will supervise Simomulyo Hydroponic Village on Friday January 15, 2021. This supervision is for discussion and also mentoring activities.
