The existence of PPI began with the birth of scientific periodicals in science and technology under the auspices of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) in the early 90s. Science and Technology Magazine focuses on publishing scientific articles on research results in the fields of technology and science.
In 2014, under the leadership of Mrs. Aulia Siti Aisjah, the management of science and technology decided to develop a science and technology journal by (1) changing the name of the science and technology journal to science and technology The Journal for Technology and Science and (2 ) built two new journals. This aims to improve the quality of journals in the ITS environment. The entries are:
In 2016, ITS management expanded the authority and responsibility of science and technology and turned it into a Scientific Publication Center (PPI). In that same year, the ITS Engineering Journal and the ITS Science and Arts Journal were handed over to the PPI for its management. In addition, PPI has also created a new journal, Sewagati, which aims to publish articles resulting from community service activities. PPI has also developed the Science and Technology Proceeding Series so that it can serve conference managers within the ITS environment to publish papers presented at the conference in the form of Proceedings.

PPI also provides consulting and mentoring services for journal managers, both within ITS and outside ITS, so that they can manage journals electronically properly and accordingly. The technical assistance we provide includes the following:

PPI also manages a proceeding series with ISSN. This scientific publication media aims to facilitate the managers of scientific seminars/conferences, both within ITS and outside ITS, so that they can publish every paper presented by speakers at related seminars/conferences.
