The event was attended by lecturers and educational staff within Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember as part of an effort to enhance awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining data security in daily digital activities, particularly in file sharing and electronic document management.

The event began with an opening session followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” and the ITS Hymn. The program then continued with opening remarks delivered by the Director of DPTSI ITS, Bagus Jati Santoso, S.Kom., Ph.D. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of fostering a data security awareness culture within ITS to minimize the risk of information leakage and strengthen institutional data management security.

During the first presentation session, the ITS CSIRT Team, represented by Aji Pratama, delivered a presentation entitled “Awareness and Risk Mitigation of Data Security within ITS.” The session discussed the importance of data security awareness, potential threats of information leakage, and mitigation measures that can be implemented in digital activities within the workplace environment.

The second presentation session was delivered by Amsal Amaly with the topic “Best Practices for File Sharing through Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.” In this session, participants gained insights into secure and effective file-sharing practices using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, including access management and secure document handling.

The event continued with a question-and-answer session moderated by Widiya together with Adetiya. Participants showed great enthusiasm through various questions and discussions related to data security practices and digital document management in the workplace.

Through this awareness program, DPTSI ITS hopes that the ITS academic community will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining data security and implementing safe, responsible, and secure file-sharing practices in accordance with information protection principles within the institution.
