Thursday, January 5, 2022, the East Java District Police signed a Cooperation Agreement with Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), the Cooperation Agreement regarding the development of technology and information systems within the East Java District Police. During the signing of the agreement, the East Java District Police were represented by a Police Chief Commissioner, Adewira Negara Siregar, S.I.K., M.Si. as the Head of the East Java District Police ICT and ITS was represented by Mr. Tri Joko Wahyu Adi, ST, MT, Ph.D. as Director of DKPU ITS.
In his remarks, the Head of ICT for the East Java District Police explained the importance of information systems in the current era, especially regarding the development of technology and information systems in the field of information system security within the scope of the East Java District Police. At present, most of the direction of police action focuses on improving information system security because the majority of activities within the East Java District Police are covered by ICT. Especially in the development of a command center, which is very important to monitor the performance of members in the field.
