Jatayu and Parikesit Team Win the Econeering Competition
Industrial Mechanical Engineering students again made achievements in the National Level Essay Competition “Econeering University of Indonesia” 2024. The Econeering Competition was organized by FTUI to support collaboration between the environmental and engineering fields. The competition took place on October 3 – November 15, and offline awarding at the University of Indonesia on November 23, 2024.
The Jatayu team raised the theme “BIMASENA: Dual Generator Wind Turbine Innovation Based on Airflow Modification to Increase Energy Efficiency to Support Long-Term Energy Availibilty”. While the Parikesit team has the theme “CACAO: Carbon Capture Automation Innovation to Realize Carbon Free Area to Support Net Zero Emission 2050”. The themes raised by both teams focus on technological innovation to support environmentally friendly energy and maintain environmental sustainability.
The team consisted of students from the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering who managed to show their best abilities through writing in the environmental field. Here are the two teams that made ITS proud in this competition:

Hopefully the achievements achieved by these two ITS teams can be an inspiration for other students to develop in other and similar fields.
