Surabaya – Proud news once again comes from the Department of Engineering Physics at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). Two of its students, Naila Zita Faslah and Nabila Rozza Aryusmal, successfully won 3rd place in the Study Case Competition at “The 22nd Season,” an event organized by the Department of Islamic Economics at IPB University.

This achievement is particularly special as it was earned outside their primary field of study. As engineering students, Naila and Nabila had to analyze a case study in the realm of Islamic economics while competing against participants from various universities. Ultimately, they demonstrated that the analytical and systematic thinking cultivated in Engineering Physics can be effectively applied to solve problems in other disciplines.

The study case competition required participants to analyze real-world issues, formulate appropriate solutions, and present them convincingly before a panel of judges. Securing a spot in the top three stands as proof of their strong analytical capabilities, teamwork, and communication skills. For this accomplishment, the team was awarded a certificate of honor and a cash prize of IDR 1,000,000.

This achievement further adds to the long list of national-level accomplishments by ITS Engineering Physics students. It aligns with ITS’s mission to prepare graduates who are not only technologically proficient, but also adaptable and capable of contributing across various sectors.

The ITS Department of Engineering Physics congratulates Naila Zita Faslah and Nabila Rozza Aryusmal on this outstanding achievement. May the knowledge and experience gained bring meaningful contributions to society and future technological advancement, as well as inspire other students to keep striving for excellenceβ€”even outside their comfort zones.
