Tactile Tools (3D Printing Format)

ITS Inclusive Digital Education for Disabilities

Designing a Multiscale Support System for Digital Education to Improve Higher Education Access for People with Disabilities (PWDs) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)

Tactile Tools (3D Printing Format)

The tactile learning tools in 3D printing format are developed to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in Urban and Regional Planning education.
These materials are specifically designed to support students with visual impairments by allowing them to perceive spatial and structural concepts through touch.

Each tactile model is produced using 3D printing technology, representing physical forms such as maps, urban layouts, or spatial elements that are essential in planning education.
This initiative demonstrates the department’s dedication to inclusive learning by integrating assistive technologies that make complex spatial information more tangible and understandable for all learners.
