Accreditation
Quality Assurance in Higher Education is a systematic activity aimed at improving the quality of higher education in a planned and sustainable manner. Quality assurance in higher education is implemented through the establishment, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement of Higher Education Standards.
The Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) implemented by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is part of the Higher Education Quality Assurance System and aims to ensure the systematic and sustainable fulfillment of the National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti) and the Higher Education Standards established by ITS. The implementation of IQAS at ITS is directed toward building and developing a quality culture across all work units and Study Programs within ITS.
Based on Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Regulation Number 39 of 2025 concerning Higher Education Quality Assurance, the National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti) consist of:
The National Higher Education Standards serve as a reference for the implementation of higher education and the fulfillment of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi). In addition to the National Higher Education Standards, ITS may establish Higher Education Standards that exceed the SN Dikti in accordance with its vision, mission, objectives, and institutional characteristics.
The IQAS at ITS is implemented systematically and continuously through the establishment, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement of Higher Education Standards. Each stage is supported by policies, standards, procedures, and quality documents established by ITS as part of its internal quality assurance system.
Through the implementation of IQAS, ITS strives to ensure the achievement of higher education quality standards, improve the quality of the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education, and foster a sustainable quality culture throughout the ITS environment.
The implementation of IQAS at ITS is directed toward supporting the achievement of ITS's vision and mission as stipulated in the ITS Statute and aligned with the institutional development direction set forth in the ITS Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) for 2026–2030.
