ITS Quality Assurance Office Welcomes Benchmarking Visit from Universitas Padjadjaran Quality Assurance Unit

Surabaya, June 26, 2026 – The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Quality Assurance Unit (SPM) of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) on Friday (June 26). The visit served as a valuable opportunity for both institutions to strengthen collaboration and exchange best practices in the implementation of higher education quality assurance systems.

The Unpad delegation was led by Prof. Ir. Euis Tintin Yuningsih, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, accompanied by Prof. Ir. Noor Istifadah, M.C.P., Ph.D., Deputy Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Lala Adilla Nur, S.AP., M.Tr.AP., Secretary for SPMI Documentation and Reporting Services.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Sri Gunani Partiwi, Head of the ITS Quality Assurance Office, together with Prof. Siti Machmudah, Head of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit of ITS. The meeting was held in a collaborative atmosphere, reflecting the shared commitment of both universities to continuously enhance the quality of higher education.

During the benchmarking session, representatives from both institutions exchanged insights and experiences on various aspects of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS/SPMI), including quality assurance governance, quality documentation management, Internal Quality Audit (IQA) implementation, accreditation support for study programs and institutions, and strategies for fostering a sustainable quality culture. The discussion also highlighted best practices adopted by ITS and Unpad in supporting excellence in education, research, and community engagement.

Prof. Sri Gunani Partiwi expressed her appreciation for the visit, emphasizing that benchmarking activities provide an excellent platform for mutual learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in quality assurance practices. She noted that collaboration among higher education institutions is essential for strengthening institutional quality and responding to the evolving challenges in higher education.

Meanwhile, Prof. Euis Tintin Yuningsih explained that the visit aimed to gain deeper insights into the quality assurance initiatives and innovations implemented by ITS. She expressed her hope that the knowledge and experiences shared during the visit would contribute to the continuous development of the quality assurance system at Universitas Padjadjaran.

The interactive discussion included presentations and question-and-answer sessions, enabling both institutions to exchange perspectives on the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System, the development of quality evaluation instruments, the digitalization of quality assurance processes, and strategies for improving organizational effectiveness.

The benchmarking visit concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration between the ITS Quality Assurance Office and the Universitas Padjadjaran Quality Assurance Unit. Through the exchange of knowledge and best practices, both institutions aspire to continuously enhance the quality of higher education and support the achievement of national and international quality standards.
