Practical Module

A. Explanation


There are nine compulsory practicum activities that must be completed in the Department of Computer Engineering. These practicum activities are divided into three courses, namely Electrical Technology Competency, Computer Engineering Competency I, and Computer Engineering Competency II. The detailed breakdown is as follows:

1. Electrical Technology Competency


  1. Telematics Workshop Practicum
    Module 1 Fundamentals of Telematics
    Module 2 Fundamentals of Schematic and PCB Design
    Module 3 Fundamentals of 3D Model Design using Fusion 360
    Module 4 ESP8266 Development Board
  2. Electrical Circuits Practicum
    Module 1 Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Laws, Series and Parallel Resistors, Mesh and Node Analysis
    Module 2 Superposition Theorem, Thevenin/Norton Theorems, Power Transfer
    Module 3 RC and RL Circuit Analysis
    Module 4 RLC Circuit and Transformer Analysis
  3. Electronic Circuits Practicum
    Module 1 Operating Principles and Applications of Diodes
    Module 2 Characteristics and Circuits of Bipolar Transistors
    Module 3 Characteristics and Circuits of FETs
    Module 4 Distortion, Frequency Response, Negative Feedback, and Multistage Amplifiers
    Module 5 Integrated Circuits

B. Practicum Regulations


  1. Practicum registration and enrollment can be conducted concurrently with the Study Plan (FRS) period each semester through https://prisma.ceits.id/.
  2. During academic advising, the number and types of practicum courses will be considered for approval by the academic advisor.
  3. Students are allowed to enroll in a maximum of three practicum courses per semester.
  4. For practicum courses administered by the Department of Electrical Engineering, namely Electrical Circuits and Electronic Circuits, students are required not only to register through PRISMA, but also to complete re-registration via LARAS laras.ee.its.ac.id during the first week of each semester.

C. Recommended Practicum Enrollment per Semester


The following are the recommended practicum course enrollments for each semester for students of the Department of Computer Engineering. These recommendations are designed to assess and limit students’ academic workload in a proportional and realistic manner:
