The faculty of creative design and digital business integrates three major disciplines: design, business, and social science, that aims to foster creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital era while maintaining social and environmental wellbeing of the society. The faculty offers programs that integrate those three disciplines to equip students with the skills and knowledge to create, manage, and evaluate creative products and services in the digital era. The faculty also conducts research and outreach activities that address the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in various sectors and contexts. The faculty of creative design and digital business is a place where creativity, technology, and society converge.
Our vision is to support ITS to become a tertiary institution with an international reputation, contributing to the nation’s self-reliance and becoming a reference in education, research and community service in the field of creative design, business, and development studies.
The faculty consists of five departments: industrial design, interior design, visual communication design, digital business, and development studies. Each department has its own curriculum, faculty members, and research areas that reflect the diversity and interconnectivity of the disciplines. The faculty encourages collaboration and cross-fertilization among the departments to create synergies and innovations.
Faculty of Marine Technology has collaboration with ClassNK Japan, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Hochschule Wismar University – Germany, Mokpo National University – South Korea, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Natural Resources, Ministry of Transportation, PT. PAL Indonesia, and many more.
