The Department of Actuarial Science is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality through continuous quality assurance, national accreditation, and international collaboration. The Department maintains national and international academic partnerships that support curriculum development, research collaboration, and the continuous enhancement of actuarial education. Upon its establishment, the Undergraduate Program in Actuarial Science received the initial accreditation required by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), marking the official recognition of the Program in 2018.
The Department of Actuarial Science, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) was officially awarded a “Good” (Baik) accreditation rating by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
This designation is outlined in BAN-PT Decision Letter No. 11864/SK/BAN-PT/AKRED/S/X/2021, recognizing the Department’s commitment to delivering high-quality education, maintaining curriculum relevance, and supporting competency development in actuarial science.
This milestone strengthened public confidence in the Program and reinforced the Department’s commitment to continuous improvement in education, research, and engagement with industry and society.
In 2025, the Department of Actuarial Science, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), was awarded the “Excellent” (Unggul) accreditation status by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA).
This accreditation was granted under LAMSAMA Decision Letter No. 186/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/S/VI/2025, recognizing the Department’s achievement in maintaining high standards of educational quality, excellence in research, and the relevance of its academic programs to the needs of industry and society.
