ITS Campus, ITS News – In a determined effort to enhance its reputation on the global stage, the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) actively participated in the QS EduData Summit 2026 held in Singapore. This strategic involvement underscores ITS’s commitment to achieving world-class university status through data-driven decision-making and benchmarking against international standards.
The QS EduData Summit serves as a premier forum for higher education institutions worldwide to discuss the role of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and educational technology in shaping the future of academia. The ITS delegation engaged in high-level discussions with representatives from various leading global universities, sharing best practices and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
The ITS delegation was led by key university officials, including the First Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Professor Nurul Widiastuti, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., and the Third Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, Partnerships, and Alumni, Imam Baihaqi, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. Their active participation in panel discussions and networking sessions provided valuable insights into global trends in higher education reputation management.

During the conference, the ITS Directorate of Global Partnerships (DKG) also set up an exhibition booth to promote ITS’s academic programs, research opportunities, and international collaboration initiatives to conference participants. This promotional activity aims to increase ITS’s visibility among potential partner universities and international students.
Professor Nurul Widiastuti emphasized that participation in events such as the QS EduData Summit is crucial for ITS to understand global ranking metrics and align institutional strategies with international standards. “By interacting directly with QS experts and peer institutions from around the world, ITS gains valuable insights to improve our performance in global university rankings,” she said.

Imam Baihaqi added that the summit provided a strategic platform for ITS to forge new relationships with universities from Australia, Central Asia, and other regions. These relationships are expected to lead to concrete collaborations in student exchanges, joint research, and academic mobility programs.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sarah Cahyadini, ST, MT, PhD, Head of the ITS Institutional Reputation Unit, stated that this international participation is expected to boost ITS’s standing in various global rankings. Furthermore, this initiative is projected to expand ITS’s global collaboration network. “Thus, it is hoped that ITS will become increasingly established in its role as a higher education institution that is internationally competitive and relevant to the times,” Sarah emphasized.
The knowledge and networks gained from the QS EduData Summit 2026 will be integrated into ITS’s ongoing strategic plan to enhance its global reputation, which directly contributes to the university’s vision of becoming a world-class institution of higher education. (ITS Public Relations)
