ITS Campus, ITS News – In a continued commitment to enhancing global partnerships, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has reaffirmed its collaboration with HSE University (National Research University Higher School of Economics) in St. Petersburg, Russia. This strategic move aligns with ITS’s vision to achieve world-class university status through sustained international engagement.
The formalization of this renewed partnership was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Rector of ITS, Professor Dr. (HC) Ir. Bambang Pramujati, S.T., M.Sc.Eng., Ph.D., and the First Vice Rector of HSE University St. Petersburg, Anna Tyshetskaya. The ceremony took place on the sidelines of the International Partnership Week (IPW) 2026 event, which gathers leading universities from around the globe.

Professor Bambang Pramujati emphasized that continuous collaboration with reputable international institutions such as HSE University is a fundamental pillar in ITS’s strategy to elevate its academic standards, research output, and global competitiveness. “Partnerships of this nature not only facilitate student and faculty exchanges but also open doors for joint research initiatives, curriculum development, and the sharing of best practices in higher education governance,” he stated.
Anna Tyshetskaya, representing HSE University, expressed her enthusiasm for the continued cooperation. She noted that ITS has demonstrated consistent dedication to innovation and academic excellence, making it a valued partner for HSE University in Southeast Asia. The collaboration is expected to encompass various activities, including dual-degree programs, collaborative research publications, and academic staff mobility.

The IPW 2026 event itself served as a strategic platform for ITS to engage with multiple university representatives from various countries, further expanding its international network. Through such initiatives, ITS aims to enhance its global reputation, increase its ranking in world university indices, and provide its academic community with broader opportunities for international exposure and collaboration.
