ITS Campus – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) consistently reinforces its international presence by securing the 266th rank globally in the broad subject area of Engineering & Technology, according to the latest release of the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2026. This achievement places ITS as the 3rd best institution in Indonesia, supported by significant performance across nine specific subjects, where five subjects advanced in rankings, one maintained its position, and three subjects successfully entered the global rankings for the first time.
In the specific subject categories, Architecture / Built Environment leads at the 151-200 rank globally (2nd in Indonesia), followed by Engineering – Chemical at the 301-350 rank globally (2nd in Indonesia). Furthermore, the subjects Engineering – Electrical & Electronic, as well as Engineering – Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing, are both situated within the 351-400 global range. The field of Computer Science & Information Systems holds the 401-450 global position, while Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, Business & Management Studies, and Chemistry are also listed among the distinguished international subjects.
This performance growth reflects improvements in quality across the primary ranking indicators: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations per Paper, and the H-index, which measures the productivity and impact of research output.
