The Department of Environmental Engineering has research focused on several topics based on scientific clusters or expertise, aligned with the laboratories in the Department of Environmental Engineering.
To achieve international recognition in accordance with the ITS strategic plan and Department work programs, one of the programs is to enhance partnership collaboration in the fields of research, academics, and community service, on both national and international scales.
Jurnal Purifikasi (e-ISSN: 2598-3806) has been published since January 2000 by Division of Jurnal Purifikasi, Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Geo Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Sanitary and Environmental Engineers (IATPI) East Java. Jurnal Purifikasi is published twice a year, in June and December, covering topics related to technology and management in the environmental engineering field.
Department of Environmental Engineering, hosts and participates in national and international conferences to disseminate advanced research and facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue.
