The Bachelor of Environmental Engineering program was opened in 1983 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 116 / DIKTI / Kep / 1984 with the name of the Sanitation Engineering Study Program.Management of the Bachelor Program in Sanitation Engineering is the Department of Civil Engineering FTSP – ITS. Then in 1996 the Sanitation Engineering Study Program changed to the Environmental Engineering Study Program based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 224 / DIKTI / Kep / 1996. This Study Program has been assessed by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN PT) with A Accreditation rating for the period November 14 2015 – November 14, 2020 based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Agency No. 1155 / BAN-PT / Akred / S / XI / 2015 November 14 2015.
