Collaborations

The Department of Ocean Engineering (DOE) has educational collaboration with Tohoku University Japan, the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England and NTNU Norway. As the result, many DOE staff members who pursue further studies, Master and Doctoral degree to the universities and well succeeded.

Collaboration in Institutional Development, such as with other Marine Engineering study programs in Indonesia to formulate National Learning Outcomes (CPL) so that they can be standardized better. Collaboration with the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC), which involves TU-Delf University and IHE Netherlands, for curriculum development, staff capacity building and coastal engineering expertise in DOE. The results have developed with the presence of foreign students (HZ University, Netherlands) who have conducted internship programs every semester for 4-6 months in laboratories at DOE for the past two years.

Department of Ocean Engineering (DOE) in collaboration with Daewoo Shipbulding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. (DSME) Korea, Indonesian Classification Bureau, PT. PAL Indonesia, etc. As a result, many DOE teaching staff worked together in the marine engineering professional project.
