Sesuai dengan namanya, laboratorium ini fokus dalam bidang instrumentasi dan perkembangannya meliputi manufakturing, desain, hingga aplikasi dari instrument dan kontrol. Proses deteksi, observasi, pengukuran, dan akuisisi data dipelajari dalam\u00a0berbagai bidang mulai dari industri hingga medis.
