  • Manager: Project, Production dan Engineering

Graduates work not only in industries but also work in an institution, research center, government, and entrepreneurship.

Vocational Degree – Diploma IVThe Department of Electrical Engineering Automation (DTEO) offers an Applied Bachelor / Diploma IV Automation Engineering Technology Study Program (TRO) to produce graduates who are able to apply, analyze, optimize and develop an area of expertise in Automation Technology to support Industry 4.0, with good leadership and managerial skills .

Its research focuses on computer control and industrial electrical. The research program has a purpose to learning application in industry and as community services. Its produce an applicative product and can be used by industry or community, such as a sequential timer which trial in the industry and electric wheelchair using muscle signals. Not the only applicative product, but also its produce research journal. The research program in this department, support by four laboratory which has a different focus, i.e :

  1. Computer System and Automation Laboratory: research topic in this laboratory is  Computerized Numerical Control dan Machine Tools, Large Scale Industries, Industrial Robotics, Intelligent Unmanned Vehicle, State Automation, Hardware In the Loop Simulation dan Program Mechatronics Technology Center.
  2. Basic Electronics Laboratory: this laboratory works in basic electronics about the component and measurement tools, also learning process, development and maintenance services for household tools with sensor technology.
  3. Applied Electronics Laboratory: Research topic in this laboratory is about disaster mitigation, conservation and renewal energy, robotics, industrial automation at UKM, agriculture, and farms.
  4. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Laboratory: Research topic in this laboratory is integration between control tools and SCADA based PLC. Program in this laboratory include practical, external/internal training, industrial visit, research, community service, internship and become competition organizer and participant.

This Department does a collaboration with the national and international institution, industrial, competency test institution under National Electronics Professional Certification (LSP ENAS), and also another department in ITS.
