To become an internationally reputable institution for education and the development of Statistics and Data Science based on computational approaches in science and technology and their applications in the fields of Industry, Business, Economics, Social Affairs, Environment, and Health.

1. The mission of the Department of Statistics is to contribute to the development of science and technology in the fields of Statistics and Data Science and their applications to promote societal well-being through education, research, community service, and management activities supported by information and communication technology.
2. The mission of the Department of Statistics in the field of education is to:
   • provide undergraduate and postgraduate education supported by information and communication technology, with internationally high-quality curricula, faculty, and learning methods, to produce internationally competitive graduates in Statistics and Data Science and their applications;
   • produce graduates who have faith in and devotion to God Almighty and who uphold high moral standards and noble character; and
   • equip graduates with technology-based entrepreneurial knowledge
3. The mission of the Department of Statistics in the field of research is to actively contribute to the development of science and technology in computational Statistics and Data Science and their applications through internationally high-quality research in the fields of Industry, Business, Economics, Social Affairs, Environment, and Health.
4. The mission of the Department of Statistics in the field of community service is to utilize its available resources to contribute to addressing problems faced by communities, industry, and government, with an emphasis on information and communication technology facilities.
5. The mission of the Department of Statistics in the field of management is to:
   • manage the department by applying the principles of good governance, supported by information and communication technology;
   • create a conducive environment and provide full support to students, faculty members, and educational staff so that they can develop themselves and make maximum contributions to society, industry, science, and technology; and
   • establish networks and synergies with other higher education institutions, industry, communities, and government in conducting education, research, and community service activities.
